Congratulations to CCS graduate Nathaniel Rivas! He was recognized at the annual Summer Symposium by the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) as a Scholar All-American! This is a very prestigious honor, as only 80 students (33 boys and 47 girls) of the over 260 nominations were awarded this status nationwide. Consideration is given first to on the field accomplishments and then GPA is considered (minimum of 3.5 required). The recipients were also recognized on the field at half time of the MLS (Major League Soccer) game between Orlando City FC and Columbus Crew in the Orlando Citrus Bowl.
The NSCAA is the largest coaches association in the world with over 30,000 member coaches at all levels of competition.Congratulations to the Rivas Family and GOOO Lancers!
