Academic Excellence

Middle School Course Offerings

Our Middle School strongly supports inquiry-based learning in the classroom. Students take real-world challenges/problems and are given extended periods of time to think, collaborate, investigate, and explore. We believe that by actively taking charge of their learning process, our students not only acquire a deeper comprehension of the subject material, but also learn to have confidence in their problem-solving skills. Woven through all academic courses is a Biblical worldview which is the hallmark of
Kingdom Education.

Student Life

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” - PROVERBS 27:17

Middle School

At CCS Middle School, we want to deliver a safe and engaging experience that is varied to meet the needs of each student! Research supports higher levels of success among middle school programs that value the assets of building community and parental partnership. At CCS, our middle schoolers engage in community both at grade level and in small groups. The students attend a yearly class retreat, monthly grade level small groups led by our high school Ambassadors, and attend weekly chapels where they have leadership opportunities to serve on Chapel Crew through leading worship, prayer, greeting, and more. All middle school students are invited to attend events coordinated by the MS Student Council and Faculty. We want these two years to be the best yet for each of our middle schoolers.

Audience of One

FINE ARTS

Cambridge Christian School enriches students’ imaginations through an extensive fine arts program that offers classes in vocal and instrumental music, theatre, and visual arts. These classes seek to add dimension to the talent and skill base of our students, providing them the opportunity to explore their artistic talent while learning the fundamentals. Cambridge Christian School is a supportive environment for students who have yet to discover their “artistic flair” and for those who simply want to try something new. We know that all our artistic and musical talents are gifts from God and strive to honor Him with them, ultimately performing for an “audience of one.”

Cultivating Champions for Christ:
The Triumph of Cambridge Christian School Athletics

At Cambridge Christian School, athletics are not merely about winning games or achieving personal glory. They are a cornerstone of our mission to glorify God, demonstrate excellence, develop strength of character, and serve our local and global community. Our commitment goes beyond the field; it is about shaping young athletes into disciples of Christ, instilling in them values that transcend sportsmanship and extend into all aspects of life. With a roster of 50 dedicated coaches overseeing 35 teams, our athletic program boasts a remarkable 90% student participation rate. Through intentional discipleship, our coaches mentor and guide our athletes, fostering not just physical prowess but also spiritual growth. Sacrifice, self-discipline, perseverance, and community are not just ideals; they are the building blocks of character that our students embody both on and off the field. As proud members of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and the Sunshine State Athletic Association (SSAA), Cambridge Christian School has etched its name in the annals of Florida sports history. With an impressive track record of 71 district championships, 21 regional championships, and 5 state championships, our athletes consistently rise to the occasion, showcasing the embodiment of our values in action. But success isn’t measured solely by trophies and accolades. Academic achievement walks hand in hand with athletic excellence at Cambridge Christian School. Over 150 of our student-athletes have been recruited to play at the collegiate level, a testament to their dedication both on and off the field. As we cheer on our Lancers, we do so with the knowledge that they are not just athletes but ambassadors of Christ, carrying with them the values of character, wisdom, and service in every competition. Together, we strive to follow God’s will for our lives, bringing honor to His name through our actions and achievements. In every game, in every victory, and in every defeat, Cambridge Christian School Athletics stands as a beacon of faith, integrity, and excellence. Go Lancers!
