I am confident that God directed me to CCS many years ago, as my role as a local pastor was coming to a close. It gives me great joy to utilize the abilities I believe He has invested in me for the purpose of helping young men and women grow to know and love His Word more and more, and to see His world from a truly Biblical point of view.

Spanish 1 and 2

Mrs. Mas-Beazel has been teaching in Hillsborough County for 6 years. Her experience relates to teaching Reading, ESOL, and Intensive – Intensive Reading (Block Class), which involves teaching Language Arts with a strong focus on understanding difficult text. Students in a block class must write essays in the main modes of writing supporting their claim with heavy textual evidence.

Reading has been one of my favorite past times from a very young age. Therefore, I do believe the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to teach and help others overcome reading challenges. As any teacher, the brightest part of my day involves seeing students smile because they have grasped a new concept! Teaching a Foreign Language multiplies those bright moments as student figure out how to navigate this “new world” daily. I pray for the opportunity to use my love of teaching for the Glory of the Almighty.

I love to teach and I love working with kids – a great combination for education.  I believe I am called to be in education to build relationships with my students in order to challenge them to think logically and strategically.  I feel that by teaching kids to be thoughtful, and at the same time infusing Truth into their thinking, they will make choices that will help them to become Godly leaders in our society.

I am a teacher because that’s what God has called me to do. As I teach Drama and English, He gives me the amazing opportunity every day to educate, guide, and shape the minds and lives of middle and upper school students. It is a blessing to use my gifts, talents and experience to make a difference in students’ lives . . . to teach them the importance of Christ in every aspect of their lives and to model the rewards of working for “an audience of One.”
