Congratulations to both Ellie Lundquist and Ella Moss for being 2 of only 10 students in the entire Tampa Bay Region to qualify for the National Chemistry Olympiad Exam! The top 20 students from the national exam will be invited to attend a study camp in Colorado to prepare for the International Competition. Then the top four students from study camp represent the United States in the annual International Chemistry Olympiad.
The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) program is a multi-tiered chemistry competition for high school students sponsored by the American Chemical Society. The purpose of the competition is to stimulate young people to achieve excellence in chemistry.
