Congratulations to Evan Brant and Mackenzie Robinson for being 2 of only 8 students in the entire Tampa Bay Region to qualify for the National Chemistry Olympiad Exam!
The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) program is a multi-tiered chemistry competition for high school students sponsored by the American Chemical Society. The purpose of the competition is to stimulate young people to achieve excellence in chemistry.

There are three tiers to the competition. The first tier is the local, Tampa Bay Competition. The top private and public school students in the Tampa Bay area took the local exam. Evan and Mackenzie were two of only eight students in the entire Tampa Bay Region to qualify to take the national exam. Next Saturday, April 30th, Evan and Mackenzie will compete in the National Competition administered to approximately 1,000 students nationwide. Please pray for them as they take the 5-hour exam on Saturday morning. The top 20 students from the national exam will be invited to attend a study camp in Colorado to prepare for the International Competition. Then the top five students from study camp represent the United States in the annual International Chemistry Olympiad.
